A Thought About Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship is not as easy as turning the palm of the hand, it must be prepared to undergo a variety of challenges. Not a few people who stopped being an entrepreneur and would rather apply to a company to work as an employee with a safe and regular salary every month , because their mental are weak to face this challenge .
We must face various challenges for being entrepreneur. For example, not fixed and small income, while the necessities of life mercilessly attacking from all sides. We also haunted by a sense of insecurity. On the other hand, lack ability to innovate and creativity is one reason why many businesses people went bankrupt, even if capital is available .
Entrepreneurship is not enough only with mere curiosity. Entrepreneurship should be an option, and set the stage for sure and steadfast in living. Ideally, commitment and consistency that must be maintained whatever the test, any temptation, and whatever the outcome. Moreover, the level of competition and the increasingly dynamic market behavior entrepreneurs must have confidence, aspirations to make a great start with small steps.
Fostering entrepreneurship
There are seven basic questions to build and lead into entrepreneurial spirit.
1. Are you eager to be an entrepreneur? You can give statements to be able to convince others that you really have a big desire to become entrepreneur.
2. Did you see the great opportunity to serve the market? Do we see a huge opportunity that others do not?
3. Do you have an innovative product which is difficult to be rejected by your prospects? What is your "Trojan horse "?
4. Are you able to effectively win the competition? Be better not only in the back line. If you cannot get better , make the difference.
5. Are you able to produce a product and market it in the most efficient way? Small percentage of people buy because it is expensive. Most people buy because it is cheap.
6. Do you know how to fund your new business idea with the lowest cost, lowest risk and best results? For example with: capital, partners , banks , venture capital , or pay by installments?
7. Are you ready to face the demands of hard work, dare to bear the risk of failure and loss? mentality should also be prepared.
The seven questions above were lessons to develop the soul and spirit of entrepreneurship that we must have
.
Culture
Entrepreneurial skills is needed to run a business. In addition it should also have a tenacious attitude, persistent, smart, disciplined, never give up, and have an open mind.
According to my experience, attitudes can be formed due to the influence of one culture in which we lived and evolved. So a person's attitude and skill can be affected from the culture in which people live.
Government efforts
Joseph Schumpeter in his book, “The Theory of Economic Development” said, a basic requirement for the rise of a country's economic growth is the contribution of the entrepreneur. Thus, the existence of entrepreneurs in a country will be able to grow the country's economy .
There are some things the government can do to foster the entrepreneurship. First, provide venture capital and facilitation for entrepreneurs (especially for young entrepreneurs). Second, facilitate about legal and clearance issue for setting up the business. Third, inclusion of soft skills and curriculum -based entrepreneurship in school lessons for all levels of education.
